:tree: So what is everyone getting (or asking for) for Christmas?

    How about stockings?

Our two oldest are getting a laptop that they will have to ~gasp~ share ;) Better than the old dinosaur they share with the other 3 right now.

DD will also get a Webkinz & I got her an AE purse. Need to find a new book/series for her as well.

14 yr old son is a bit of a problem this year. I cannot think of much that isn't a ton of $. Any ideas?

Stockings here always start with the requisite Xmas orange, nuts in the shell & ribbon candy.

Olivia will get a bunch of girly stuff - nail polish, creams, lip gloss, funky socks.

Matthew will get deodorant, razors, socks undies, magazine & some stuff from the dollar store.

Sharing a computer, good luck. If I asked my two to share a computer they'd flip. We just got them laptops for their last birthday. I can imagine a 14 year old boy is hard to buy for what about new sneakers and clothes. Video games for his new computer? My girls are asking for tons of clothes, make-up, new iPods, money, Ugg boots, Shawn wants a new cell phone and Kyle want a new digital camera. My girls are only 11 months older than your girl and if i tried to give them a webkinz I think they'd laugh at me, we're growing up fast over here.

I'm nowhere near done with my shopping either I did a bunch more this afternoon but I have so much left. I think if I have to go into Hollister again I may have a rage blackout.

My 15 year olds are getting a variety: DVDs, CDs, calendars, football jerseys, socks for both; Craig is getting a couple xBox games he wants plus a Best Buy gift card; Brian is getting money for a new guitar he is saving to buy and a wah wah pedal

My 19 year old is getting the same variety plus a new watch and some UT gear and Best Buy gift card

All are getting small stocking stuffers too

My two oldest are getting hand me down laptops. One is an old one of ours, and the other is an old one of my IL's, so they didn't really cost us anything, now, anyway. Someone that my husband works with was able to refurbish them. I also got a fabulous deal on polo shirts at Aero, for school, for both. Justin is getting a baseball bat, and Hannah is getting a Razor scooter.

As far as stockings: socks, deoderant, lotion, body wash, shampoo/conditioner, a few pieces of chocolate, gum...I think that is all.

Callen, did you find something for Matthew?

How old are yours that they wouldn't share? Our 5 have always share 1 system and we haven't had any trouble. I expect they will be thrilled to have a separate one from the other 3.

It just seems like he (& we) has so much & I really hate buying for buying sake. He has a Touch & digital camera already. More Wii games than we even play  Tons of clothes. Oy vey!

Olivia teeters back & forth in what she enjoys. She still enjoys both ends of the spectrum.

    Nice on the laptops!

Got him the new Avatar game. He just saw the movie & loved it. Will get him an Itunes card so he can buy the Avatar game for his touch. He'll love that.

Will look for a book/series, a couple of DVDs.....have lots for his stocking. Maybe a theatre gift certificate - he alreay wants to see the movie again.

They're 13 but we bought them their laptops for their 12th birthday. We got a good deal, Apple was giving free iPods with the MacBooks plus we were able to get a 10% discount through a friend. It had been a constant fight before that over who's turn it was to use the computer and it was just the two of them using it, my husband and I have always had our own.

I shared with my sister until 17 when we got our laptops, but really it was one each as we had 3 computers to 4 people (at that time) and dad didnt use his laptop so we did. Now we have 5 laptops and a desktop for 5 people - go figure. I think sharing at that age is fine, the main reason for getting our own laptops was school based we both had major works we had to do.

Hope they enjoyed their gift :)
