    Hi everyone,

I'm a bit of an intruder as my babies aren't due for a few more weeks, but I figured you would be the folks to ask.

    I was just wondering...

How old were your twins when you had them christened?

Did you used different godparents or the same ones for both of them?

    Thanks in advance. :)

My babies were about 3 months. (My older children were baptized at about 4-6 weeks) but the twins were born right before Lent and so we waited until right after Easter. We used 2 separate sets of Godparents because we wanted them to have their own.

We just had ours christened yesterday and they are 6 weeks old. We had separate godparents for both although I don't think it was necessary but we have such a big family that having two babies allowed us the opportunity to involve more people and they were all thrilled to be a part it. It was really special for all of us.

Mine were 5 months... and we used different Godparents for each. We joke and say that we have a "Godfamily" as each set of Godparents will be involved with both. The more the merrier!!

My girls were 4 months old and we had one set of godparents for each baby so two sets total.

My twins were 3 months old when they were christened, we had a different set of godparents for both. Congrats and good luck on your pregnancy!

We baptized ours at 5 months corrected, actually 8 months.
Each twin had one godparent, not a set.
They were so great during the whole baptism, it was beautiful!

3 months old, two sets of godparents. They were pretty good for the baptism, although DD talked alot when the priest was talking and needed a paci halfway through.

Our girls will be nearly 8 months when they are christened. We are Methodist, so we don't have Godparents, but I would go with 2 sets if you have enough to spread it out...share the love!

Mine were 9 months old, but only because we moved when they were 5 months old. The process of moving and then getting settled delayed their baptism. Otherwise, we probably would have done it around 3 months. We had 2 different sets of godparents.
