First off, you are not the only great mom that has yelled at her babies before. It may make you feel better to look at it as just yelling outloud to release, not necessarily at the babies. Anyway, I was driving back from DH's job and Caleb was screaming non-stop because he had run out of cheerios. It was the only thing that got him quiet on the way there as well (he's having a cranky day). I pulled over twice in thirty minutes to re-up on the cheerios and he was just devouring them and screaming bloody murder the second he was done. I was on the freeway and he started up again and cars were flying by me and honking because I was driving too slow and I was starving and frustrated that I had to drive out there in the first place and it was just too much. Before I knew it I yelled OH MY GOD! HERE! and tossed a handful of cheerios into the back seat partly hoping some would land within his reach but also that some might bop him on his little screaming head. When we got home and I saw the cheerios strewn all over I felt like such a psycho  But it actually made me feel better to let off some steam. I looked at the mess, then looked at him smiling at me like any other day, and we both started laughing. Now I wouldn't go around telling this story to my in-laws or Sally Singleton mom, but I know and you know and every other mom on this forum knows that this is a hard job and you're bound to lose it every now and then. But tomorrow's another day and we suck it up and do it all over again and then one day (I hope) we'll wake up and they'll be off to college and we won't even remember these meltdowns. Hope your day gets better and I hope you and others can benefit from my psycho mommy moment :D .

 I know the psycho mommy moments all to well. Thank you for sharing that. Sometimes us mommas can feel so guilty about things like this but we are only human, and two babies is alot of work and stressful {thank God there are alot of good things too ;) } Your story gave me a laugh because I can SO picture myself doing that.

    LOL!

I generally reach around blindly while driving, and try to shove two Cheerios at a time into Kevan's (open, bellowing) mouth, so I'm often mistakenly putting them in his nose, eyes, whatever. Next time I might try just tossing them to him. Heehee! I can totally picture that!

 What a great mental image! Seems that today Caleb & Jackson were in the same boat... I totally could have BTDT. Instead, I was tossing sippy cups of water over my head (Jackson sits directly behind me) and fishing around for paci's whilst driving, hoping I could shove one in his mouth if I hit a red light.
