Chore Chart

How many stars did you let your child get before giving them a reward? What are the types of chores you put on them? How about charting behaviors?

 

We just started a chore chart. I bought a long narrow dry erase board from target and have 3 wooden stars that I made into magnets and put a pic of a toothbrush, a dump truck, and some dishes. Their 3 chores are brushing your teeth when we ask (they always brush but if they don't want to go to bed they fuss about it), pick up toys before bed, and use good manners at the table. If they move all 3 stars from one side to the other they get a sticker, 5 stickers gets a quarter and then after 20 stickers gets a trip to the store
We haven't made it to 20 yet but they do get upset if they don't get a sticker! I also give them a sticker if they do something without me asking such as yesterday they both put their playdoh away and back in the drawer without me asking
