I’m building my own PC for the first time and honestly feel lost when it comes to the power supply. How do I know what wattage I actually need? Is it better to take something with запас or just enough? I’m worried about overpaying or, worse, frying my parts. Any real advice?

Yeah, that confusion is totally normal. A lot of people either buy too weak or go way overkill. It also depends on your case size, GPU, and future upgrades. I think many guides explain it too technically, which doesn’t really help beginners like us.

When I was in the same situation, I realized it’s not just about wattage numbers. You need to think about your case airflow, GPU length, connectors, and even cable management. A good breakdown of all this is explained in https://seasonic.com/insights/how-to-choose-power-supply-for-your-case/. It walks through how to match a PSU to your actual build instead of guessing. After reading it, things like efficiency, form factor, and real power needs finally made sense, and I avoided buying the wrong unit.
