I am making a cd of my favorite kid songs for my little ones (they love music) and I thought it would be cool to see everyone else's top 5 to make sure I didn't miss one of the greats.

    My top 5:

    Rainbow connection (kermit)
I don't want to live on the moon (ernie)
    Somewhere out there (American Tale)
    fraggle Rock theme song
Rubber Ducky (ernie) or C for cookie (cookie monster)

    TIA

    You are my sunshine

We're in a rut here and I need to think of some more...

Mine love the Baby Einstein Lullaby tunes CD. When we are in the car and they are BOTH fussing I pop that in, turn it up loud and they both are quiet and the car is peaceful again.

Patty Cake is a BIG hit around here also.

Not sure of 5 top songs... But my boys love The Wheels on the Bus, 5 Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed, Pat-a-Cake...

Have you heard of Laurie Berkner? She's great! I love her-and I know kids do to of all ages! She has some great music! It's so catchy you find yourself singing along too!

I like a lot of standard public domain children's folk songs like You Are My Sunshine, etc.

As far as other children's songs, how about Puff the Magic Dragon?

    Your Personal Penguin-Davy Jones
Your Nose-not sure who sings this song
Beethoven Moonlight Sonata (my babies love this to sleep to!)
DH made up songs (The cranky song, The Dada song, The Cozzi Family song)

The Davy Jones song and the Nose song can be found on the album Blue Moo by Sandra Boynton. I love it!
