Chicken Pox ? and concern

Well Kaylee has been running a fever since Wed off and on. She had a fever again today and also 1 spot on her face that looks like a zit, so I didn't think much of it. Well now she has 3 more spots on her face and they start out with a little red bump, then a white center, and now the very first one is like a yellowish-scabby center. Does this sound like chicken pox. I also think it is weird that she doesn't have any on her back and belly yet? I have read on the internet and they said they typically start on their belly or back. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Oh yeah and she won't eat a thing. She is drinking though.

 

I had chicken pox when I was 19, and they started on my face. It is very possible that she has chicken pox. If she's had the Varicella vaccine it should be a mild case, but she's still contagious.

 

Reagan had them at 15 months (I think) and she got them as a result of the vaccine. So, it was nothing major to deal with. She had three spots on her face and 3 on her belly. But, they looked like what you are describing.

 

She did have the vaccination at 12 months I believe. She really started to scratch at it when I was putting her to bed. I will wait and see what tomorrow brings, hopefully there will be no more bumps. :unsure:
