Ok, here's a silly sounding question. What brand of chicken nuggets do you feed your kids that they love? I am reading and hearing about how some kids just love them but the ones I have tried were the frozen ones that ended up tasting HORRIBLE (rubbery) and not really having much chicken in them. My girls were definately not interested. They really like chicken breasts and deli meat turkey but I was looking for another option. Thanks!

My boys LOVE McDonalds, but what kids don't LOL

We're in Ontario and have a brand here called Presidents Choice. Everyone in our family loves them and they are the only ones other than McD's that they'll eat

We get dinosaur ones from Costco. They are called Dinos Chicken Nuggets. You can also get them at grocery stores-- I have seen them at our Ralph's. They are somewhat healthy for a chicken nugget.

Tyson chicken breast tenders (not the nuggets) are not too bad. I make them in the toaster oven....although you can microwave them in a pinch. As long as you don't overcook, they taste fine.

Chicken nuggets aren't exactly health food, but I chose this brand because the list of ingredients is relatively short -- not a lot of added junk.

I prefer the Bell & Evans chicken nuggets, which are healthier -- but, my kiddo doesn't like them.

ETA -- we had some Perdue chicken nuggets at a friend's house, and they are pretty good -- but I can't find them at any local grocery store....

Perdue fresh not frozen! (maybe that is why you have trouble finding them? I get them in the meat section of our grocery store, right next to the whole chicken/turkeys etc).

Ohh! (smacks forehead) I just assumed they were frozen -- duh! I'll have to look when I get to the store. Thanks! :)

We get a brand called Schwan's. They are a home delivery food company and the nuggets are great and all white meat.

[SIZE=10pt]We usually get Dino Nuggets at Costco. They seem to like them ~ although there aren't many foods that they don't enjoy ;)

I'll have to look into the Schwan's nuggets. I see them in our neighborhood often, however have never ordered from them

    April :)

We love the dino nuggets too! They aren't rubbery as long as you don't microwave them too long.

We are BIG Perdue fans around here. I don't think they sell their products anywhere west of the Mississippi. They are a Maryland company and most of their products are shipped fresh (though they do have a few frozen products as well). I like to get the baked nuggets which have a lot less fat than the fried ones. Yum!

We get some at Costco (sorry, I can't remember the brand) that actually taste like breaded chicken. They're not the dino ones, though they may be from the same company. They're actually chunks, not nuggets, if that makes a difference.

I make my own from 10-12 breasts at a time and freeze them. I've got a recipe for parmesean coating that's yummy. Or if I need to make a batch and don't have any on hand I do a shake n'bake batch. They love them.

We do the Bell & Evan's brand here too. A nutritionist recommended them as the healthiest (other than make your own like EMc2!). I do keep Tyson ones on hand for when I need something quick as the B & E ones have to be actually cooked in the oven for 25 minutes. But the B & E ones are SO SO good. We get their nuggets or Chicken breast tenders.

We either get the DINO ones from BJs (same as the Costco ones), or the DINO ones from Perdue. Either way, they love them!

Don't know if you have a Trader Joe's in your area, but they have "chicken drumetts" which are basically chicken nuggets. They are in the frozen section in an orange box. My girls loved them and I think they taste quite good too.

Perdue (refrigerated not frozen).. I usually microwave them (not too long though) sometimes just 10 seconds. They also sell them with whole wheat breading.

After trying numerous brands/versions (nuggets, tenders, etc), my boys will only eat the Great Value Popcorn Chicken.
