checking on them at night....how many times?

I'm just curious....for those of you who have babies that sleep through the night....how many times do you check on them during the night? I check on them before I go to bed..then my DH checks on them before he goes to bed. I used to get up in the middle of the night to check on them too (when I would get up to pump) But...I have quit pumping so I just sleep through the night now. How many times do you check?

 

I don't check them. I basically put them in there and run

I check on them before I go to bed. I love it too because they're in a deep sleep by that point, so I kiss them and rub on their heads (and do a smell check to make sure they don't have a dirty diaper).

 

Never ...

 

NEVER!! I am always afraid I will jinx them!! It seems like every time I look at them (video monitor) they move around.....

Oh my gosh, that's the best.

I check on them before I go to bed. They have no nightlight, so I just go in and feel their tummies for breathing. If one of them is sick or had a rough day, dh will check before he goes to bed too.

 

I always check on my two before I go to bed and sometimes I manage to wake them (and then curse myself). I still check for breathing even now, if I don't see their stomach moving I put my hand there and if I still can't tell (they're in a deep sleep) I give them a little shake haha.. must be crazy, coz I should add my girls are still not sleeping through the night and they're 4 in June!! yikes

I always check before I go to bed. I listen to their breath and think good thoughts to them. Dh never does and is always nervous when I do. funny thing is that on my way out more often than not i'll make a noise like i'll pull the door to hard, stub my toe on the furniture, drop something. So far they've never woken up!

 

I check on them several times before I go to bed, but once I go to bed I get up once when I go to the bathroom. Dh checks on them when he gets up. Once I went to check on them and Jamie was starting to wake up and I ducked so he couldn't see me and crawled out of the room.

 

I check on them before I go to bed and that is it........I just lay in bed a pray that I will get a good night sleep.
