Cheaper alternative to Huggies Overnites?

We've been using Huggies Overnites for a very long time now, and I absolutely love them. However, the price is getting a little ridiculous, and I am definitely a bargain shopper. They have now bumped up a big pack (62 diapers for size 4) to $18.97! We use Wal-Mart brand for the daytime diapers but have always stuck to Huggies for nighttime because the boys pee SO much at night. But we've been using Diaper Doublers and pull-ups over top with much success, and they are starting to pee less at night... so I am thinking maybe it's time to switch to a cheaper nighttime alternative.

Any suggestions? Am I crazy for wanting to switch from Huggies?

You could try a bigger size diaper and also a diaper doubler. You can try it for a night or so and see if it does the job.

I was also going to suggest moving up a size in the diaper and then maybe using the diaper doubler. Usually if they start leaking through at night I make sure that the diapers were tight enough and if they still leak through then I move up a size in the diapers and that usually does the trick.

Excuse me, I never heard of this -- diaper doubler? Is this like a maxi pad to go onto a training diaper or diaper overnight? Where do you get them at?

    Thanks,

They're currently using Target Brand #5 during the day and then night time it is Pamper Cruiser #5 no leakage for us yet.
