My boys - Jacob especially - LOVE to wear clothing with their favorite TV show friends on them. Sesame Street and Thomas the Train are the obsessions du jour.

Where do I find good deals on clothing with these characters on them? Everything I see online is pretty expensive. Is that just how it goes? Clue me in! :)

Here's a link that shows some things online. It's funny that we have NO Elmo shirts or Thomas the Train and my kids loved Elmo so much. :umm:

Good luck with your search Erin!!

have you tried a resale shop?

The girls have some Sesame Street stuff that DH bought them for Christmas - I think at BRU. I have no idea what he paid for them.

have you tried target or walmart? I think I saw character clothing there.
My girls are into Disney and we always check the Disney store when we are in the mall, have gotten some great deals that way.

Kohl's. Just watch for one of their sales.

I've found Elmo stuff at JCPenney and Sears for reasonable prices.

I've seen Elmo at Walmart, Kohls, and JCP---inexpensive for the most part ($8 or less for a shirt)

Good luck! We are always looking for princess shirts around here!!

KC, check the Disney Store online for Princess stuff! I know, I thought the Disney Store would be expensive, but things will go on clearance every so often for pretty cheap. I also got a ton of Princess and Tinkerbell pajamas at WalMart a while back for $3 or $5 on clearance. I bought a whole bunch of sizes to last them.
I would try WalMart for Elmo and Thomas stuff too.

My family has bought the kids tons of Elmo and Sesame Street stuff from Costco ... Also Princess, Nemo, etc ... I'm not sure if you have Costco by you ...

Have you tried looking at a flee market? I know we have one near us that has all that kind of stuff.

Wholesale clubs like Costco or BJs have character tees.

Kmart! I have bought some shirts for $2 on clearance and some whole outfits for $4. Even the non-clearance items are priced pretty good. They are owned by Sears, now, so the quality of clothing has gone up, but the prices haven't.

I'd look for that kind of stuff at Goodwill or Savers.
