All right, recently my kiddos have found their fingers and hands and they spend most of their time in their mouths. ALl of that saliva has started to "chap" their cheeks and chin, is there anything that can be done for that?

Wash their faces once or twice a day, and keep them lubed up. We use plain ol vaseline, it seems to stay on longer. I came some from the hospital with a bunch of tubes and I have them stached everywhere.

Gerber makes a special product for this. Can't think of name but it indicates for chapped cheeks etc. I used it on my older DD when she was a baby and it worked well. I would especially put it on before getting out on a windy day.

Use Aquaphor! Dry them off and then put some aquaphor on it and it'll protect the skin a little!

We use a cream from Aveeno for exzema, and I put it on their faces, too. I actually tried it on my face since I have really dry skin & it felt wonderful!

We use Aquaphor. It's greasy, like Vaseline, so be careful! We use it right after bathtime or when I know DS will be awake/upright for at least 45 minutes.

I just use Vaseline because that's all we have in the house. It works pretty good after a few days.
