Chapped cheeks and nose

Since my one son has started sleeping on his stomach he wakes up with little red cheeks and a red nose. The only thing I can think of is that they are getting chapped and sore from rubbing his face back and forth when he sleeps. Is there anything safe and gentle that I can put on his little cheekies? I feel so bad for him!

I use Aquaphor and it really helps. You can buy it at Target, Walgreens, etc.

 

I use Aquafor on the boys' cheeks and it clears up quickly. It's not the cream, it's like vaseline (I can't think of the right word).

 

We apply Eucerin cream in the morning to help with the chapped/dryness... and we apply Aquaphor ALL day (it seems like) to prevent the chapped/dryness!

 

Either Aquphor or A&D cream works great. Put it on before he goes to bed and it will make a big difference. Works great on chapped skin due to drolling too!

 

We used the same A&D for bums and faces. Worked great.

I love to use Aquafor also. They have Baby Auqafor in the infant aisle with the diaper cremes, etc.

 

My daughter had really dry skin around her nose with the crazy weather we have been having. I used Cortizone 10 plus on her. Eucerin cream works too, but it is really hard to rub in because it is so thick. The Cortizone 10 plus has special ingredients to help with the different types of dry skin.
