I think it's kinda funny but sad at the same time. The girls are ready for convertable seats. Well Maddie is ready. Allie can stay in her seat a little longer. But I don't want to move her because I'm not ready to give up my double snap & go. Maddie has less than an inch to go before she's too big so I really should move her. Plus I tell myself I get to use my favorite car seat - the Graco My Ride. I'm so ready to be done with infant seats because I'm tired of carrying them in and out of the house but I love that DSNG stroller! lol

Are they outgrowing their infants? I moved mine to convertible when they were 30 inche long at 9 months (or 9.5 lol dont remember). Are your babies 29 inches at 7 months? I have to tell you i miss miss my infant carseats. Now we go grocery shopping, we put them in 1 cart and have another cart for groceries. its also hard to take them into doc office too. Our doc office is too tiny for double stroller. its inconveniece because they cant walk yet but constanstly on the move. However, I love our marathon 70 seats. So do they lol. GL!

I have the smaller infant seats. It lists 22lbs and 27" as the max.

I'm clearly sleep deprived. When I read your post I decided to go double check my seats. They're 22lbs and 29". I don't know where I got 27" from. So yea I can use them a little longer than I thought!

Our old Graco was probably 22 and 27. I checked both to make sure one wasn't 29 and the other 27". I'm excited I can hold on to my seats a bit longer.

I'd just say to make sure that the carseat manual talks about the head being 1" below the top of the carseat. if so, then that makes more sense because who cares how long their legs are... anyway, not sure what the average ages are for lower height limits... I had the 32" ones, and we didn't have to switch until closer to 20 months!

anyway, if you don't want to switch, DON'T! you don't "have" to carry the carriers into the house every time, you could continue using the carriers and use the snap & go or carriers when you're out and about, OR when they fall asleep you want to bring them in to the house w/o waking them.

I forgot about the 1" rule. The side of the seat doesn't mention that but I remember the manual says that. I will check in the morning when the girls get up. Thanks for the reminder!!!
