    Hi Girls,
I was at my OB this morning and he gave me a few options that I would like to ask about. My babies are both breech and he said that on the 16th of October if Baby A has switched to vertex he would induce me or perform a c-section if its still breech. He also gave me the option of waiting another week to see if Baby A would turn vertex. What do you ladies think are the chances of that? I am getting rather uncomfortable with just about every aspect of this pregnancy, but if the chances are good for the baby to turn I would wait out another week. I just have a feeling that since Baby A has been breech since the beginning of August, it is unlikely to turn. Please let me know what your experiences are or what happened in your case.

Both of my babies were breech - pretty much the whole pregnancy they were that way (baby b flipped to vertex once at 33 weeks), but after that they stayed breech. I had a c-section at 38w4d, and both were still breech.

So, I don't know - I'm sure it's "possible" for the baby to turn, but I would think it may be unlikely at this point.

    Good luck!

I would say that it is pretty unlikely that Baby A would turn at that point because there just isn't much room to move. If you are totally uncomfortable, I'd go with the c-section on the 16th.

A was breech and my md's said there is always a chance but in reality, there was really no room to flip even if she tried.... they told me after 32 weeks it was very unlikely...

My a has been head-down for almost my whole pregnancy, but 2 weeks ago she surprised us and turned up breech (at 34 weeks)...and was back down again by last week..... my baby b has been breech or transverse the whole time and actually flipped frem a low-head transverse position to breech in my u/s 2 weeks ago!! Since then she's back to transverse. My doc had said before that that they would have to be very motivated to flip, but they move constantly apparently (and fwiw, they are approx 6.5 pounds each now, and still moving freely -- i'm HUGE) He said they can move as long as the fluid levels are good....

eta -- baby b's little flip was actually *during* the ultrasound, took about 5 minutes...u/s tech was a bit surprised :)

I'm almost 35 weeks & Baby B flipped from vertex to breech within the past week. Now he has been moving from breech to transverse. So it's possible for them to still move. I'm praying for him to do one last flip and go vertex again so I don't have to have a c-section.

My babies had been flipping right up until 37 weeks! It's possible. May not be entirely likely but it certainly IS possible. It is more likely if this is not your first pregnancy. You are a bit more stretchy with subsequent pregnancies.

My babies are also both breech and have been for more than 2-months now (I'm 36-weeks). I have heard stories about them turning in labor and that is what I am hoping for although my doctor is not hopeful. I would imagine it depends on the size of the babies as well?
