cereal

my twins will be 6 months oct 2..
i have been trying cereal for a about month now just once a day.. they dont seem to enjoy it.. they take a couple of bites and then start crying . and they grab for the bottle. any suggestions?

 

Have you tried making it thicker/thinner or cooler/warmer? It took some time for me to find out what consistency the girls liked best, and then it changed, lol!

 

My little ones won't eat cereal at all unless it is mixed with fruit. Have you tried adding bananas, applesauce or pears?

Same here. My babies didn't like it plain. I also mixed it with veggies...kinda gross, but they ate it!

 

yes I did.. I have been using bananas and applesauce.. do you think its too early?

 

Mine never cared for rice cereal(even with fruit/veggies) but love their oatmeal. Maybe you could try switching to oatmeal...you've been on the cereal for a month so maybe that's an option. Mine are now on mixed grain which they tolerate but they still love their oatmeal.

 

Mine absolutley hated the rice..but loved the oatmeal.. Try something diiferent. That seemed to work for my girls. Good Luck!!
