Cerclage placement was this morning

I'm back, it went okay. Two attempts at the spinal and it was taking too long so they put me to sleep while they did it. It only took about 25 minutes for the surgery, but 4 hours for the stuff to all wear off.

According to the doctor, it went perfectly. I'm just a little stiff and still a little wobbly from the meds. My back is killing me where the spinals went in, OUCH. Those always seem easier while one is in labor.

Taking a vicodin for the back, yeah it's that bad. And going to sleep for awhile.

my back always hurt a bit after spinal/epidural...but not that bad.. I guess maybe they hit a nerve or something? Glad you got your cerclage in.

 

Sorry you are feeling poorly, but glad to hear you will have some peace of mind with the cerclage in.

A spinal is different and worse than an epidural. I hope you feel good again soon. I am sorry for your past losses and I pray everything goes great. Cerclages are miracle makers!!! I have seena dn heard of many many close to full term kiddos because of them.
