Jack and Lila will be six months tomorrow; Jack is rolling over from back to belly, Lila nothing it's like she has no desire what so ever to. Shouldn't they be sitting up by themselves soon? They will sit up a little unsupported on out laps but that is it. What should they be doing at this age?

Mine will be 7 months next week. Marcus rolled from back to belly for the first time this morning (of course I missed it because I'm at work). Maddox is trying but not quite there.

So...don't worry....Lila will when she's good and ready.

I don't remember when DD started rolling to her tummy... but I think around 6 months. She was doing it every night in her crib since 4.5 months but never managed to do it on the floor until then... Weird.

About sitting up, DS did at 7 months (he learned to sit on his own the same day he actually sat without falling), DD still falls if I make her sit on the floor.

My girls are 7 1/2 months and they have no desire to sit. They can for short amounts of time but they don't want to - they want to be on the floor on their tummies playing. They squirm to get on their tummies on the floor anytime we try to put them in the sitting position. I think they will put themselves in the sitting position one day. I joke that they will go to kindergarten on their tummies. He hee

    Babies are sooo different!

My guys can't sit either and only one rolls. One thinks its fun to roll back to belly/belly to back - but the other is more interested in doing little push ups on his belly. All babies are different and I think everyone gets too caught up in all the "they are supposed to do X in month Y" stuff. :).

Don't worry they will get it when they are ready :).
