    Hi everyone!

I managed to lose all of the weight I gained during pregnancy two weeks after my girls were born. Woohoo! However, I had carpal tunnel when I was pregnant and I still notice it faintly in my hands at times. To my disapointment I cannot get my wedding rings back on. Should I have them resized or wait a while? Did anyone else have this problem? It's only been three weeks, but for some reason it bugs me that I can't wear my rings. Grrr!!

    Summer...thanks for listening!

Hi! My boys are 11 months and I still cannot wear my wedding rings. It seems my knuckles have gotten permanently bigger. I too lost all the baby weight within a month after birth. Good luck!

I am now pretty much at my pre-pregnancy size (not my smallest pre-preg size but not my biggest either) and I can get my engagement ring on but not my wedding ring. How weird is that?! I know when I was this weight before babies I wore those rings, I don't think my fingers are going to get any smaller.

I didn't get my rings back on until about 6 months postpartum (but that's how long it took me to lose most of the weight).

Thanks ladies! I wasn't a small person to begin with so I was thrilled when my baby weight came right off, but bothered by the fact that I can't get my rings on! My hands are no longer look puffy and swollen so I was suprised that I couldn't get the rings on. I think i'll wait a couple of months and then see about getting them sized. Thanks for your help!

My carpal tunnel lasted until about 2mths pp. Still get it sometimes on days when its raining. Anyway, I was just able to start wearing my rings and watch at about 5mths and I was and still 5lbs away from my pre pregnancy weight.

I did not have carpal tunnel during my pregnancy, but after had a huge amount of swelling. I would say I had lost most of the weight within the first few weeks, but it was at least 8 more weeks before all the swelling wnet down & I could get my rings OFF... I had them on the whole pregnacy and they were so uncomfortable afterwards I was ready to cut them off, but they finally came off about 8 weeks later and i finally put them on again about a month ago! Don't resize just yet...

I could have written this post. I actually thought about it. I had carpal tunnel and my rings still aren't comfortable, nearly 10 months PP. It's so frustrating. I love my wedding and engagement rings and I'm so sad not to have them on right now.

Has anyone had their rings resized? I was thinking maybe getting them resized half a size up. But I didn't know how expensive that would be.

I'm so glad everyone has posted! Thank you! I like my rings too and can't wait to wear them again. I would only need a half size up myself. I'm not sure how much it costs?

    Thanks!! :itwins:

I lost most of my weight pretty quickly, but I think it was about 5 months before my rings would fit again. You might just wait a little while.

If you do have them resized it's not expensive, but it does depend on the type of band - the plainer the better.
