Carlie is in the ER right now. She was super fussy all night and would only eat 2ozs every hour or so and not really sleeping. Today she was even fussier and felt pretty warm to me. I took her temp and it was 99.9. Plus she has a rash on her face. So I called the Pedi to see how much Tylonal I could give her. Found out I couldn't give it to the girls til they are 3mths old. I told her what was going on and she said it was better to be safe than sorry. So DH is with her at the ER since he was already showered and dressed. I am home w/ Emily and Claire waiting to hear.

I am not super worried, but do wonder if she has an ear infection or something. I know Emily had them at that age.. They go for their 2 month check-up Tuesday.

She is just having a rough day. I also accidentaly stepped on her arm getting up off the floor after changing her. Ughhh I felt sooo bad. Luckily it was very little pressure that was put on her.

I also hope that it isn't something that Claire will get too. I am hoping to hear soon.

I hope everything is OK. We had both ours at the ER 2 weeks ago (they were just under 4 months) for fevers as well. Typically they don't call anything under 100.4 a fever, but when they are this little, better safe than sorry is right! It turned out to be nothing but a virus in our case - one that we still can't seem to quite shake!

I've never heard that you can't give Tylenol until 3 months - especially weird when our pedi suggested we give it before their 2 months shots! I know you can't give ibuprofen until 6 months. Did your pedi say why no tylenol?

Good Luck, and I hope Carlie is OK!

Oh, what a bummer! Poor baby. I hope it's nothing & she feels better right away.

I've never heard that about Tylenol either. We've been able to give it from the beginning.

I hope she is okay. My pedi said no tylenol at that age too (except before shots). He said it can mask what is going on with a baby that small and they want to know right away if something is causing a fever.

Bingo. That is why we were told not to use it. I am sure I will be able to use it for shots though.
