would like to get your opinion on car seats/stroller...

    a) do you purchase 2 infant car seats and snapngo stroller; then later purchase 2 car seats and another duo stroller?

    B) do you purchase 2 infant car seats and a duo stroller that they can grow into and then have to only purchase 2 car seats down the road?

    c) any suggestion best use of money, easiest with twins, etc?

    thanks for you help!

I got the graco duoglider and the 2 graco snugride infant seats that could be used with it.

Now at 2 years old I still use my duoglider all the time.

ETA: We got 2 convertible seats when they outgrew the infant carriers.

We have 2 car seats and the Double Snap N Go. We also got the Maclaren Twin Triumph - I wanted a side by side for when they got bigger. I didn't want a front to back.

We will buy their convertible seats after they grow out of the infant carriers.

We purchased 2 infant seats and the snap n go. We have a double stroller for later and will have to purchase the convertible seats later. I go the infant seats because I know that is easier than trying to get the babies out of their seats and into a stroller.

We got two infant car seats and the double snap n go. We also have a side by side jogging stroller for when they get bigger. We will get the convertible seats when they outgrow the infant seats.

We got two snug ride car seats and the double snap n go. I wanted something more lightweight. We also have the Valco Twin Trimode side by side for when they get a little older. We will buy the convertible car seats when needed.

We are going to use 2 Snugride infant seats and the snap n' go. We are also getting a double jogger. When they outgrow the infant seats, we'll get the convertible seats. We'll probably get another double at some point to go shopping, etc. I figure I'll wait and see what's out there at that point.

I haven't had my babies yet so I don't have experience with my new stroller yet. But, thought I'd share what I'm going to use. I got 2 Graco Infant Safeseats and a Twin Quattro stroller. The stroller folds up nicely and much more compact that I envisioned it would. Both infant seats snap into the stroller so I can use it now and then when they grow out of the infant seats as well. The basket is a nice size too. I know it sounds corny but I'm really excited to use this stroller! :D

    Good luck with your shopping!!

We got two graco safeseats (infant) and the double snap n' go. I'm shopping for a side by side jogger for outdoor walks and non-mall outings! The convertible seats will wait until they outgrow the infant seats.

i got a beautiful used duoglider off ebay for $65 about 2 months ago. and i just got a package deal type thing on ebay with 2 graco snugrides (blackwell pattern) and 4 bases. no accidents. im going to resell 2 of the bases because we only have one car. but i got those for $106 plus $30 s&h. i like being able to use the duoglider even after theyre out of the infant seats, and i dont mind the weight or bulkiness of them. thats just me though :)

We also went with the Graco Snugrides and Duoglider. I used my Duoglider all the time until just over 3 years old. I liked it a lot better than any of the other double strollers I had because it was so practical and could fit anywhere.

At 6 months old, the girls changed carseats to Britax Roundabouts.

Even though it costs a little more, I definitely suggest infant carseats to parents of twins.
