For those moms who have girls how did you hadle going place in frilly dresses. I want to get the girls pics taken with Santa tomorrow in some pretty little dresses but I am afraid that putting them in the car seats will muck them up. Any suggestions?

I've done the same as pp - I usually put tights, etc on under the pj's so it was a quicker change.

I've also gotten my DD all dolled up and just put something over the front of her so she didn't drool all over everything while I was getting her there - it's amazing how bad drool shows up in pictures.

Good luck with your pictures, we took our kids last week and what an experience!

Since you're from UT - just a suggestion, but we took our kids to Valley Fair and Cottonwood - Santa was waiting for kids at both places. It was a little bit of a drive but well worth it not to stand in line while the kids got crankier by the minute!

Actually we are planning on going to Cottonwood. I was there Monday doing some shopping and the place is a ghost town. I am mostly owrried about wrinkling the dresses, but I guess there really isn't anyway around it.

You could take a bottle of wrinkle release spray - it works pretty well

We brought the girls in one outfit and then changed them when it was time for photos. We just put their tights and shoes on so all we did was change dresses.

It worked well and if they spit up we didn't have to worry.
