    Ok... I need Help!
Our babies are almost out of the carrier nfant car seats and ready for the next phase. Do those car seats have to be rear or front facing?
Also what brand have you bought? I saw an enexpensive brand at wal-mart ($45.00) and was wondering if they will work just as good?
    Thanks!

They continue to stay rear facing until they are at least 1 year and over 20 lbs.

Same here! I think we have the Evenflo Triumph Advance I don't know if there is much of a difference other than extra padding and my boys LOVE them. They have so much room and never make a peep in the car now.

Yup, they must be over 20 lbs and at least a year old to be forward facing.

We went with Britax car seats and love them. They are pricey though.

We got the Evenflo Triumph Advances ($160ish at bru) as well. With the twin discount at bru and some coupons, we were able to get both for under $275. I've heard the Evenflo Titans have good ratings too (only $99 at bru). Make sure you take the store sample to your car and make sure they fit (without you driving while eating the steering wheel!).

Rear-facing is the safest ... so you will want to go with some type of convertible car seat still that can be rear and then forward facing. We have the Sunshine Kids Radian 80 and love them!

If you want them out of the infant carriers before a year yhan you need to get convertible car seats. The need to stay rear facing till at least 1 YEAR & 20 lbs. The covertible seat will go both ways so you will not have to buy another set.
