Hi gals,

We have to turn in the 4 seater for one that will fit 3 children under 3... Any ideas for me? What do you drive?

Wondering if there are any vehicles besides vans that sit 6 people (3 car seats).

THANKS!

I have an Audi A6 Wagon with 3 Sunshine Kids Radian 65 carseats in the back. It is a tight fit, but they're all in there safely and I didn't have to buy a new car! I think with the Radians you could fit 3 across the back in most mid-size cars, SUVs or wagons. HTH :)

I have 5 kiddos but drive a mini van I love it - I have driven a mini van for years (way before we had the twins) and I LOVED it with just the 3 kids. we had plenty of room - and cargo space too!!

Before the twinkies came, I was so anti-minivan. Once we found out we were expecting two at once, we test drove one and ended up buying a Honda Odyssey. I LOVE IT!!!! It's so roomy and I absolutely could not live without automatic doors! Definately a must when you have little ones!! I also like the fact that we have room for 2 more riders. Plus it's very comfy and easy to move around in. Great for travel too ;)

Mini van here also. I drive an Odyssey as well. We need to get a new car in the next year or so - I keep going back and forth between the van or a Pilot. Now that the kids are getting older and we don't travel as much, I am thinking that I might go the Pilot route. Just wish they made a hybrid one! The gas mileage isn't that much different from the Odyssey - that is the only reason I am considering it.

Another vote for Honda Odyssey. I love it - and thought I wouldn't - but it has been great with the three girls. And we can fit the three car seats and three extra people in.

I've got to go with the minivan. While its not stylish or hip, it is the way to go with 3 little ones. I have 3 under 2 1/2 and the twins sit in the back row in their car seats, the baby is in the middle row in a captains chair (with car seat) and we've removed the other captains chair to make it easy to get the twins in the back. We have a Grand Caravan and I have love it.

I have 3 kids here and we have a mini-van, Toyota Sienna. I LOVE it!! I couldn't imagine not having a mini-van with my 3 kids. LOVE the remote power sliding doors and there is TONS of room. :good:

Mini van here. Honda Odyssey. We've had it since 03 (DS1) and we could not live without it. In about a year we will be getting another mini van. DH is a big Honda guy but the only other mini van he would consider is the Toyota. We like having room for our 3 kids and for family when they come to visit. Now that DS1 is into sports it's nice having room for that stuff too. It's great for travel and I could not live without automatic doors. I don't have to worry about having enough room to open doors to get kids out. And when the kids are older they can't door ding anyone.

Another Odyssey lover here!! Right now all three of my boys sit in the middle row, thanks to the extra seat that we got with our '06 model. When the twins arrive the three older boys will sit in the back and I'll move the two middle captains seats together and put the twins there. The automatic doors are a lifesaver!! It's great for travel because you can pack so much in it and I LOVE driving it. :D

We have a toyota sienna. We had a nissan altima before the twins, but dh got in a accident a few days before the twins were born. Sad, but because of the money we got from insurance, we were able to get our van.

I have three year old twins and a 7 mo old. I have the Honda Odyssey. I had a Toyota Highlander before the 3rd came along am so happy we have the van now. The only thing I don't like about the Odyssey is that the trunk door does not have remote power release to automatically open/close it....I think that would be helpful when trying to get groceries, strollers and kids out of the car.

Thanks Gals! WOW, everyone drives a Van. I wondered if there were any cars that did fit 3 car seats but I guess not!

THANKS again! :)

Well, I'm the biggest anti-mini van person you'll ever meet, but I now drive one! haha We had gotten a Nissan Pathfinder w/ a 3rd row seat when we first found out I was preggo, but before we found out about the twin part. We managed for the first few months, but it was too tight a squeeze with the two car seats, plus I have two step sons (14 and 10) who were too cramped in the little 3rd row seat. I have a Nissan Quest, and I feel it's the least "mini van looking" of minivans, and I actually like it quite a bit. The second row are bucket seats, but everyone has MUCH more room, and much less fighting! And better gas mileage too!

My husband and I never wanted a Van. My girlfriend who have 3 kids said to me that you'll need it once the kids get older so their friends can join and very useful for carpooling around w/supportive neighbors/friends. And said, it is so much easier with cargo, the space, and roomy for each kid to sit.

We start looking around and test drove it. I love my new Van especially the sliding door and opening the trunk when I come out of the grocery store. We have a 2007 Cranberry Hyunadi Limited Edition fully loaded with everything we could asked for.....love the drive!

We do like the Honda Odyssey and Toyota Sienna but they did not come with all of the package that we wanted and it was a bit pricey too. So, we look around with T&C and Nissan Quest. We just decided to get the Hyunadi for everything at $28,500. That's a pretty good deal and we were on the 4th list of the consumer guide for 2007 (I know it is the list in that order).

Kia Sedona and Hyunadi (are the same maker) but it has similar exterior but interior is different.

1. Honda Odyssey
2. Toyota Sienna
3. Kia Sedona
4. Hyunadi
5. Nissan Quest
6. T&C

I think all above is great if anyone is looking for a new Van. I do like the cross over SUV/Car such as those newly wagon. We are going to keep our Van as long as we can and will still go out and buy another Van in about 10 years, ha!
