it feels like its very hard to breathe, where you feel like you could have a panic attack. no laying on my back.
Also ill get really sick feeling, light headed about to pass out my hands and most of my body feel numb sometimes my vision goes this last about 5 mintues. it happened today while i was at my specialist getting my exam..thank god it happened then! lol

I don't have any info. Just wanted to let you know that I have the same thing. My hands go numb. I get little stars in my vision and feel like I am going to pass out. It can come on at any time even if I have just eaten so I know it doesn't have to do with low blood sugar.

I have the hard to breath thing sometime, especially when I am slouching on the couch. Best thing for it is to lay over my birthing ball or lay on my left side in bed, and make sure I keep my head sright, not tuck it into my chest when I sleep the way I do when non-pregnant.

This happens to me, when my iron is low - has your doc checked your Fe level?

I was going to say the same as PP. Have your doctor check your iron level. I had the stomach flu a while back, and couldn't keep anything down. During that time I quit taking my iron. I started getting the "stars" and feeling dizzy. Once I started back on my iron, 3 times a day, I quit having the problem.

As for the breathing... I believe it is the twins. Baby A: my baby boy is deeper inside of me than his sister: Baby B. I believe he is the one attacking my lungs, causing me to have the breathing trouble. I also notice that when he is fluttering about, it feels like I am trying to have a panic attack. That is probably what is going on with you. If you are concerned, I would ask your doctor... or call the OB ward at the hospital. Good luck!

agree with pp, I had my episode at the dr. office after my glucose test. I had anemia and the sugar made me feel like I was crashing. Couldn't breath, blurred vision, extreme thirst, felt like I was about to pass out, and was extremely hot... then I drank loads of cold water and everything was cool. hot flash... it sucked. My dr. laughed and said welcome to my world... That sucked... It was a combo of blood sugar, anemia, and system just freakin out. Check for anemia and make sure you eating well and not waiting to long to eat.

    good luck

    Could you be dehydrated?

I don't have experience but just from reading Dr lukes book ( I am only about halfway through it) She says that poor circulation can cause this.. The babies weight can cut the amount of oxygen rich blood that goes back to your heart causing you to feel dizzy or light headed.. her suggestion is to nap for a couple hours on your side. Though she says to do this for 2 hours in the morning, 2 in the afternoon and 2 after dinner.. I kind of had to laugh at that because I have 7 kids at home and I am lucky to get 1 hour around noon.

Unfortunately I get something like this too--for me it's my blood pressure. It started in my first trimester from standing too long (like 5 minutes!) and now in my third it's more common when I'm sitting, my Dr thinks because my uterus cuts off the flow in the inferior vena cava. My bp has been about 80-90 over 60 throughout. I have tested my blood sugar during an episode just to rule that out. If it is your BP, you need to lie down on your side to prevent falling, and then it should go away. It scares me so badly every time it happens...I get confused, sweaty, lightheaded, my heart races, and my vision sometimes gets funky.

I get like this if I even try to lay on my back. Sometimes when I stand up too fast too.

thats what the dr told me it happens when u lay down or stand up to fast because there is a nerve that is getting blocked that lets oxgen to the brain. completely normal. i just stay on my left sidenow it makes it alittle better
