Cannot believe it was discontinued

My older girls had this toy Playskool kick start gymand absolutely LOVED it! I want to get one for Blake because I know he'd love it as well but after doing some searching it seems they've discontinued it! I cannot believe it, that toy won awards and had awesome reviews. The only place I can find it now is on ebay and most are wanting over $40 plus $30+ for shipping, too much for me to spend on a toy. I am kicking myself for not hanging onto mine now. I am hoping I'll stumble upon one in a thrift shop or something.

We have something similar sitting in a closet...too bad you don't live closer!!

It's so funny you posted this! I just got my old one out and it is not working! I am so so mad! I also searched on line and decided I couldn't justify the cost of a new one. My first DS loved this, but really only for 3 months.

 

I hate that, too! But try craigslist, you may find a gently used one that's in your area so you can pick it up instead of paying the shipping what makes it so expensive!

 

I second the Craigslist recommendation - I just did a quick search on classified ads in my area and found that product for $10-15. If you can find one in your city you can pick it up and avoid shipping costs too! Good luck!!

 

I KNOW!!!!! I have one from my 5YO which was used when I bought it and when I dug it out for the girls, it was sticking and not working properly. I nearly cried because you just cannot find them anymore and this design is just the best of the bunch IMO. Ditto craigslist - maybe you'll get lucky?

 

Ugh I have one that my LOs HATE and despise!!! I would ship but it would prob be costly. Up to you. But 1st I have to check to see if its still at their grandparents house.

Yeah I've seen the newer versions and the reviews just are not as good. If it weren't for the expensive shipping on ebay I'd buy one. I'll just keep checking the thrift shop, we don't have a Craigslist that I can find.

I buy a lot of my boys stuff on there. You can search in your area. SOmeone might have one to sell. I just bought an excersaucer for $10.

 

I got one off of freecycle. My boys love it.
