I don't have those car seats but we do have the eddie bauer convertables. We have a jeep grand cherokee and a dodge ram quad cab and its tight in either vehicle. Basically, I think that unless you do have a minivan, it will be a tight fit until they go forward facing. You should be find with your minivan but the civic I bet will be really tight.

We have a Toyota Sienna and a Neon, and ours(evenflo) WILL NOT fit in my husbands neon, nor did the infant seats!! I have to use my Aunts (altima) if he needs the van. I guess they don't take carseats into consideration when making the dumb cars....

We have Marathons & they were still rear facing until about 2 wks ago in our Honda Odyssey [IMG] Love the Marathons!

There is a website... that is escaping me at the moment that details which car seats fit into which cars. If you google carseats and cars I am sure you'll be able to find it. Good luck!

carseatdata.org could be the onle you're thinking of. Their info is a bit limited because most of it is for seats installed in the center position which, as you know, we twin parent's can't really do. Check it out anyway, you could get lucky.

I drive Prius and am in the process of trying to find a seat that will fit. We had a tight fit with the infant seats, luckily DH and I are really short and can keep the front seats pretty far up (I'm 5'2" he's 5'5") Right now I'm looking at the Britax Roundabout which is smaller than the Marathon, it also has 2 recline positions for rear facing. I'm planning on getting to BRU sometime during the week to see if they'll let me try one of theirs out in my car. I'll post to let you know how it goes.

PS - This brings up a good question. If you can't find a seat to fit your car what do you do? If it's not legal to have them front facing before 1 yr. of age do you HAVE to buy a new car or just not go anywhere???

I drive a Hyundai Santa Fe and am able to fit the three seats now; not sure how 3 convertible seats will fit. Hopefully it works. This is us now...it's a tight fit

We had somewhat of a hard time finding seats to fit rear-facing in our VW Passat Sedan. We ended up getting the Britax Roundabouts for our car. They fit really well. We originally bought the Evenflo Triumph or Titan (can't remember) and they wouldn't fit, so my babysitter has them in her Durango. At least she can use them and we didn't have to return them.

wow - I have Evenflo Triumph's and they fit in both of my cars and I have a Ford Focus and a Saturn Ion - they're a bit tight but we have no problems fitting them in...they fit better than the infant seats!

Yes, i have a honda odyssey and the marathons fit fine RF [IMG] Of course if you wanted to get to the backseat you had to crawl under them or go through the center of the front. But dd and her friends were the only ones who had to do that [IMG] DD was in the center of the back seat in her booster [IMG] Actually dd loved it when they were RF so she could play with them while we were in the van. Awwwwwwwwww!
