Can someone explain to me...

...why anyone, anywhere, would think that horizontal stripes on a maternity dress is a good idea? :crazy:

 

I saw a dress straight out of the 80s the other day. Big Bold Sunflowers!

 

I know!! I am so glad that I am not the only one!!

The only really cute maternity clothes I have found look like they are for the pregnant 16 yr old. Things are either for the very young and the "i started out a size 0 pregnant chick" or they have horrid patterns or crazy bows! I had to just get some plain maternity tee shirts and jean and khaki capris. Even the tees were hard to find witout a huge v neck!! The only shorts I found were maternity booty shorts! Thank goodness I havn't needed a dress because finding plain tee shirts was hard enough!!

 

:laughing: I ordered a maternity shirt that had horizontal stripes b/c it looked so cute online. :bad: It was horrible. As soon as I had Cooper I got all my maternity wear and donated it. Both times after I delivered I couldn't wait to get back in to regular clothes.

 

Someone made my mom a maternity swimsuit when she was pregnant with my sister & I. Guess what the pattern was??? Big whales!!! :shok: I'd take the stripes! :rofl:
