Can she use a pillow?

Hannah really seems to want a pillow in her crib. Sometimes, she uses her blankie as a pillow and other times she will pull the bumper down as much as she can and rest her head on it. The nights that she has a "pillow" are the nights she sleeps better. She also likes to lie down on the pillows we have on the couch. She'll throw them on the floor and lie down on them.

    So, my questions are:

Is it safe for her to have a pillow in her crib overnight?

If so, does anyone have a recommendation?

    Thanks,

    Rachel

A&K have the small pillows from onestepahead.com Item #02817 Wee Lil' Pillow. Check them out. My little ones love their pillows!

We got ours from www.mrbobblesblankets.com - I think Jennie-OH recently worked out a discount with for TS members. Do a search and you will find it, it was bumped recently. Mine LOVE theirs. The covers are so soft [IMG]

We just got our from Mr.Bobbles today in the mail and they are great. Very soft and not too fluffy.

My boys have been using regular standard firm pillows since about a year. I do often find them on top of them but at that age, there is little to no risk of suffocation IMHO. [IMG]

DD was doing the same thing... she would bunch up her blanket and sleep on that as a pillow. So we ordered from Mr. Bobbles and both DS and DD love their pillows. Our kiddos a little earlier, but I probably would have gotten them earlier if I had noticed either DD or DS wanting one.

Emily uses a travel pillow. You can get a travel pillow and nice pillow case for it for under $10 from Walmart, Target, Kmart....even Walgreens.

My pedi at thier one year appointment said a small pillow would be fine. We used travel pillows with zip around travel pillow covers.

We use travel pillows too. We bought them at the military store for like 4 buck but not case. They are about a foot long and 3/4 of a foot wide. The are camo print.

I was wondering this. Mine don't mind that they don't have one so we'll probably wait a few months. I remember with my older DD we gave her a pillow in her crib at about 18 months.
