Can I make a suggestion to the Boards?

For the mods (sorry, didn't know where else to put this! Feel free to move...):

I know you can't MAKE anyone do anything, but I think it would be really nice if everyone's signature included the following information:

-How many weeks their twins were born at

-Birth Weight

-NICU time (if any)

I just always find myself wondering how big people's babies were and at what gestational age they were born at...I know that we have the charts in the sticky and some people do it already, but it would be fun to see it on individual people's siggies...

Well, for starters my siggy has all that info for you! :good:

However, as far as requiring everyone else on the boards to do it, it could never happen. It would be an impossible task to police everyone's signature and make sure they would have the "required" information. Also, some people just don't care to share that information and that is within their right.

It is a nice suggestion though, and maybe some people will read this and add it.

 

I think that is a great idea too! I often wonder who has been in my situation, and I know I will once the babies get here, and how far we make it! I know all of the twin moms are full of so much info they are happy to share, it would be a great way to see who you have certain things in common with!

 

As for someone who's siggy no longer includes that information. The older your kids get the less relavant that becomes to you. I took it off when they turned 3. There is a chart somewhere, where once your twins are born you add what week they were born at, how much they wieghed and if they were in the NICU for how long. I remember checking that every week late in pregnancy to see if they were born now, what the odds were.

FWIW, mine were born at 35 weeks 4 days, weighed 5lbs 9 oz and 5lbs 12 oz, no NICU time, mono-di (up until birth it was thought they were di-di, mostly due to a family history of di-di twins)

 

:good: I agree with Kyrstyn. Plus that could get lengthy. :wacko: If some want to add, that's great. But I'm sure if you start up a thread and ask, you'll get a good amount of replies.

 

I would be happy to update mine to include that....now I just need to remember how to do that <_<

 

Thanks for the suggestion! I just updated mine to include that info. I didn't realize people wanted to know.

TandC - Just click on your name at the top of the screen, click on setting, profile tab, change signature. Hope that made sense!
