I am so unhappy with the staff at my MFM! I just called because I didn't remember scheduling my next appt so the lady that answered the phone is so rude and in the middle of me explaining why I was calling she said "hang on" and put me on hold. Then she put me on hold about 5 more times for no reason. Then she kept asking me what kind of ultrasound I needed. I dont know what its called!! Isn't that her job?!? I explained why I see the MFM and gave her my name and she still didn't get it. This is the same girl that forgot to schedule my next appt at my last appt. Also, the ultrasound tech that I always see is horrible too. She takes the ultrasound wand and stabs it into my stomach and made me throw up at one appointment. She is obviously new because the first two appointments I had, my doctor had to come in and explain to her how to get different measurements. UHHH hello aren't they already supposed to know how to do that?? It seemed like I was her very first patient! And shes rude too and never smiles or has anything nice to say but I can get over that! THEN... at my last appointment there was another dr sitting in on my ultrasound who I guess was in training or something and she was COMPLETELY CLUELESS!! my mom asked her how many inches they were and she told my mom they can't measure how long babies are from an ultrasound... Um I think that's a big part of an ultrasound is measurements! Then she told me from taking my blood pressure that I was really dehydrated. Haha you can't tell if your dehydrated from taking blood pressure! I told my OB about that and she was cracking up.
Ok I feel better after venting but is there anything that I can do or do I just deal with it? I really do like my doctor. She is a very well known specialist and is a great doctor so I don't think I want to change doctors just because she has a REALLY BAD staff.
Thanks for listening.. Or reading!! HAHA :)

I would talk to the office manager or even your doctor. They should know how their staff is behaving.

I would TOTALLY talk to my Dr. about their staff. I think they would want to know for sure :good:
They pay these people to do their job & do it to the best of their ability, and if they are not doing a good job then someone should be told.
Good luck and hope your next appt goes better!!

Fill out a report or talk to the HR department of the hospital. You can do more than just fill out a comment card!

This is what I would do as well.

I understand how you feel...sounds like it was you and I playing around with the ultrasound machine! They could have been a little more patient, understanding, and explain what it is that they were doing and why. I know that when I had my BPP last week (on one of those 6 days that I had one everyday <_< ) I asked the tech how long my girls were and she explained to me that due to their size that they didn't do lengths anymore, just the head size to get a roundabout weight.
