Can anyone recommend a good diaper bag?

I'm 20 weeks and looking for something that's not ridiculously expensive (under $100). I don't really like the looks of that nylon material or plastic-y one's. Maybe cloth? Possibly black or dark brown? Want to find one that I know Twin Mom's like. :D Thanks so much!

I don't know what these are made of, but I just bought the One Step Overnight diaper bag as it holds a lot (it's says it is big enough for twins) and is well made when we go out for longer than a shopping trip. It's $30 on One Step's website. Another one that's been recommended a lot is the Skip Hop Duo Double, which also holds a lot for multiples. You can find it on Skip Hop's website, I believe. You can also google it and find good deals on it other places too. HTH.

I just use a plain old backpack. I found a traditional diaper bag to be a pain. I only have two arms and at times need both of them for the babies. With a backpack my hands are free. The bonus is they are cheap and the styles are endless!

I bought a SkipHop Duo Double, but it was $90 (with shipping) so I don't know if you were looking for something less expensive. I honestly love it and it works perfectly for our three little ones (twins and our 15 month old). I know they have other bags that aren't quite as large too.

I love this bag so much!!! I two other bags (one from BRU and the other was a smaller skip hop) and I always had to carry an extra bag along with it.

I used a Vera Bradley bag. It was the messenger type bag, with two side pockets. They also have a baby bag which is much bigger. My friend had that one and loved it.

I'm going to ditto the Skip Hop Duo... for the price it is worth it! It holds enough diapers, wipes, snacks and clothes for at least four kids! You will not have to buy another bag after this one (unless of course you collect diaper bags like me!)

I'll tell you what diaper bag NOT to get - an Eddie Bauer tassel type bag that snaps with a magnet. Or probably any diaper bag that has a magnet snap. DH bought this bag for us from BRU and I HATE it. Because the snap is a magnet it will not stay closed, even if there is barely anything in the bag. And if the bag is full stuff will fall out of it because the snap won't stay shut once you tighten the tassles. I got $ for Xmas so I ordered the skip hop duo double and I'm still waiting for it to come in.

I love my Skip Hop Duo Double! If you don't want to pay full price you can always go to EBAY and buy a used one. I bought a used in EXCELLENT condition for half the price!

everyone seems to be recomending Skip Hop Duo Double - but my question is regarding it - since it can hold so much stuff - is it huge / heavy to carry?

It is big but I have never felt that it is too oversized. Maybe because it is more long then wide so it lays next to you easily when you are holding it. I never think, gosh, this is too big to take to (wherever).

I love the Skip Hop Duo ... It's big, but has a long strap that can be resized, so I usually wear it (if i'm wearing it) as a messanger bag. But I can make the strap shorter, and it hangs perfectly on the back of my front/back duoglider. But it also fits on the back of a side by side since you can make the strap longer. It's really a great bag with plenty of room.
