Can a 15 month old live off of cheerios and cheese?

I swear that's all they eat! We took them out to eat last night and they did SUPER well but that's only b/c they had three tables full of people making googly eyes at them. Should I run a restaraunt from home so there are always people watching them eat?! At least it's protein and carbs! Aaaaahh! Ok, deep breath, this too shall pass right?! Anyone with SUPER "I LOVE TO EAT" toddlers want to trade for a day so I know what it feels like? :D

funny enough - they can live on that...mine lived on nuggets, cheerios and yogurt for a while...my mantra "this too shall pass" (although its hard at the time especially with petite kids!)

:hug99: I know you have had constant battles with their eating. :hug99: My kids go through phases of only eating certain things, but I keep offering all of it!

I can't imagine...well, I can. My bestfriend's daughter is just like that...but just know, the grass isn't always greener on the other side! Hugs from me though...it will pass. Mine go through phases, too, only its never a decrease in appetite, just a change in taste

    LOL! Thank you!

Becky, I must sound like a terrible broken record!

They did well today...so one day at a time.

Not at all! I know how it is to worry about how much they eat! :hug99:

Offer the other stuff and then feed the cheerios and cheese! they'll tire of it eventually. I read in Touchpoints that the 2nd year is about learning to feed themselves, not as much about WHAT they eat. Don't be too hard on yourself! :hug99: (In 8 mos, it'll be chicken nuggets or something!)
