Help, no daycare this week, no DH today, too much snow for walks or the playground. What do I do? The mall has no appeal to me, I want them to be able to be active.

Has anyone ever taken 3 little ones to the pool on their own?
DS will not sit still for story time at the library, I have no friends with little ones so no play dates. The bouncy house places would be good for DS but not the girls. I can not think of anywhere to go with all of them on my own where they can be out of thier stroller.

    Help!

Chik-Fil-A! Or an indoor playground at McDonald's! They are lifesavers!

My girls love to play with dry rice/beans/pasta. We put some in Tupperware bowls and give them dixie cups. They love it! And it vacuums/sweeps up so easy!

Let them play in the tub and pretend they are at the beach! A nice way to break up the day!

Let them paint the shower walls! Give them paints and let them go for it! Easy clean up!

    Hang in there!

I don't have any great ideas, but I feel your pain! We had 2 snow days this week plus the holiday. I'm not a SAHM and our house is not really set up for having the kids home all day for several days in a row!

Does your mall have an indoor play area? They can get sort of crowded and rowdy, but it might be worth it for your DS at least.

I wouldn't take my twins to the pool on my own, so I don't think I'd take 3.

I second the tub idea. We did that last week when we were desperate -- gave them an unscheduled bath.

Thanks for the ideas, they are all great. I am the one feeling cabin fever the worst though and I have no idea, with the new storm, when I will be getting out.

I've been trying to figure out where to go with the 3 that is safe but won't keep them strapped in the stroller and give me a much needed break outta the house.

When it's cold out and I don't want to go anywhere, we work on fundamentals. We watch videos and play with our number and alphabet magnets. Flash cards...etc. There are plenty of things to do inside.
