    Hi all,

Just a quick update. Everything has been going on normal till this point. I was working from home since week 28 and have been taking it light, but everything was good. Babies were growing and I was feeling good too.
Went for a sonogram today(I have completed 36 weeks as of today). They and my ob felt that the babies are not growing as much as they should.
Baby A is weighing 5 lbs 2 oz and Baby B is weighing 4 lbs 10 oz. They feel that they are not getting enough nutrition inside, so they have decided to take the babies out on Thursday via C-section.
All this feels so sudden. I am quite worried about the babies' weight and hope they do well when they come out.

I know you're very nervous, but congrats on making it this far. I was told that my babies were way too small about a week before they were born and they really ended up surprising everyone and not needing any NICU time. I hope the same for you!!

Hi. I was induced at 36 weeks 1 day for the same reason as you. Baby A was 5lbs 5oz. Baby B was 4lbs. Both came home healthy from the hospital with us no nicu (weighing 4.15 and 3.11 when we left the hospital) I'm hoping for the same outcome for you. I'm sure everything will go great! Good luck.

Mine were born at 36 and 2, and were perfectly healthy. They were with me after their sugars were regulated, and that only took about 5 or 6 hours. Goodluck! :)

I know it's hard but stay positive. 36wks is a great result and you would rather they go in early as opposed to leaving things as they are and depriving the baby of vital nutrients.
All the best and god bless.

Good luck to you!! mine are being taken for similar reasons! one was only 3 lbs 5 oz at 33 weeks. the other 4lbs 13 0z. i have a c section scheduled @ 35 weeks. my dr. says i won't need the steroid shots either. once you make it to 34 weeks, they say they are no longer needed. they are "practice breathing" great on their own according to us! please keep me posted! i'll be interested to hear how everything turns out since i'm in a similar situation. pm me! good luck!!!
