c section scar

Does it ever stop feeling weird? it feels tingly and numb when I touch it..yuk..how long does it take for it to lighten up? Mine is still bright red

 

It's been almost a year and mine is still numb and itcy. I don't know if it goes away.

 

I asked the same thing to my ob and he said it will always feel funny.

 

Lucky me, I have two section scars and they both feel wierd. My first is 8 years old and it is still numb and tingly.

 

Mine still feels tingly and numb and I had my done 13.5 months ago. I don't think the numbness ever goes away as I still feel numb where my scars are from my ovarian cyst (which they cut right over for my c-section) and my appendectomy.

 

I hate looking at my scar and touching anything even close to it.

 

Still tingly and numb here also, sometimes it's worse than other times.

 

My babies will be 3 this summer, and I don't even notice mine..... except for the bulge above it !!

 

I asked a friend of mine who's twins are 12 the same question and she said that she still has numbness.

 

I had one for 4 years before the twins' section and it always felt weird, like it was numb. It's because the nerve endings in that area have been severed and will not grow back. You get used to it though.

 

My still feels a bit wierd every once in awhile!?
