A looks in the living room for K's flipflops. A finds them and picks them up and brings them to K. A puts the flipflop on K's foot. "byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee". A goes over to I and starts babbling to him with "byeeeeeeeeeeeee" in there somewhere. Think she's trying to tell K to get lost, Mom should be here by now?
That is so cute! My kids do the same thing with our babysitter, or my parents, whoever is watching at the time. As soon as I get home they are kicking the caregiver out the door. There have even been times when I'm home for the day, but my parents stop by to visit and the kids upon seeing them tell them "Good-bye Papa/Grandma. Go home. No stay. Bye-bye!" Just goes to show that no matter how fabulous your childcare provider is, there is no replacement for Mommy!
One of my two would go to the door (when we were some place other than home) and when he decided it was time to go, would start to pat on the door, wave good by and say "go, go", Or once at the babysitters, I got there he walked around the house, waved good bye and grabbed my hand and pulled towards the door. Okay, guess we are leaving now.
