I do not remember who it was; however, kudos to the poster that mentioned trying the bumpo seats out early. I had been saving them for when they were older but got them out the other day and Jack and Lily love them. Jack, particularly will sit in his for up to 15-20 minutes which is a REALLY long time for anything. I can also carry him around in it and place it by me if I am trying to do some things around the house. He has a pretty significant case of torticollis and plagio and I feel like the bumpo is really great for strengthening his neck and keeping him off of his head. For this reason I really like him to be in it rather than the bouncie seat! Tummy time does not last longer than a minute or two for us right now so this is a nice option. I forget how to attach a link to a picture. I use snapfish...does anyone know..? thanks for the suggestions! Amy
mine are really starting to hold theirselves up really good so maybe i will get one and try it. I had seen these and was afraid maybe that their little backs weren't strong enough yet, but I will try anything to help entertain them missy
Thanks for mentioning this. I've got two that we bought secondhand so I'll see what happens. Now that their necks are getting stronger, they do like to sit up and look around.
I really wanted to try them also. Does anyone know a good place to get them thats reasonable priced. I have seen them in a store atthe mall here, butthey are asking $50 for 1! Thanks alot!!
I bought one to try out on my little ones. They never really liked it. DD was always trying to lean over the side. They never lasted very long. Try craigslist, people are always selling on there for a cheaper price. Mine works better know that they are older. I use mine in the bath tub for my DS since he doesn't crawl and move like my DD. It helps a lot. I personally wouldn't buy a new one, they are expensive, and if they babies don't like them, it is a waste of money. Try craigslist.com or ebay

target sells them for 39.99 and walmart for 37ish try the ts shopping for used, and also craigslist, ebay costs too much for shipping imho Alyson
i bought one used and they love it... we only have one but i just take turns with them. Beau really loves it the most.

Strange....our PT said exactly the opposite. She (and our pedi) encouraged us to get bumbos specifically to strengthen their core and help their neck muscles also. Who knows? I guess the lesson is to run everything by your own PT or pedi, as I'm sure every baby's case is a little different.
I bought 2 for $40 each. Plan to sell them on Craigslist for $25 each (seems to be a good price, especially since they're in great condition and I still have the box too), so in the end it will cost me $30 for 2. That's even better than buying 2 for $40-50 on Craigslist (although you still have to make the investment and if you resell again ... you could really do well!!!). I don't use them a lot, but am still happy I got them.
