Just wanted to know how you like them. When can they use them and for how long? Are they a good product to get?

  2. Huge BUMBO fans in my house. We introduced them at 3 months and by 4 months old they were hooked. They were great for neck strenghening. We added the tray for toys. We traveled with them, they are super lightweight. I loved the pics we'd get of them side by side. By the time we introduced food, we used them instead of highchairs (so easy to clean). I am not dumb, and never left them unattended. We pretty much outgrew them at 10 months, but the girls still play on or in them now for fun.

One of our BEST shower presents. I give it to everyone !

I would just buy one. I only bought one and have never needed another one at the same time...
My kids maybe use it for 5 minutes each a day. My DS barely fits in it at 5 months though. I have to flip it over to dump him out. But it seems to still be comfortable for him.
I found that my kids necks weren't strong enough to put in the bumbo until they were 4 months old. (It makes me uncomfortable when they lean their necks to the side)
But at 4 months they did well. My little ones are starting to sit up now and I think it's partly to the bumbo because it strengthens their neck in different way than tummy time does.

I would definitely get one and see what your little ones think. Don't trip if they don't like it the first few times either...

We just got one for them to share, but now my DS legs are so chunky he gets stuck. I take him out without the chair still attached to him
    My little chunky monkey!

We weren't big fans of them here, but I'm glad they work for so many others.

We used them mostly 3-6 mo. I also use them occasionally now. I borrowed one from my sister and bought the other from a friend second hand.

We really didnt use ours much. I sold it on Craigslist. You might want to look there for one, I know that when I sold mine there were a lot of them for sale.

They aren't big fans. They get bored I think and start throwing there backs back and almost tip themselves in it. It is good to bring if you go to someone's home and need to feed them solids. Other than that, we didn't like them too much.

Our two lovely, brand new Bumbos were probably the least-used baby equipment we owned. I had high hopes, but they never liked them. They got bored quickly, toys never stayed on the tray longer than 10 seconds, and they kept arching thier backs I thought for sure they'd tip right over backwards.

I never bought them for any of my kids. They seemed kind of expensive and I wasn't sure what the purpose really was if you already had exersaucers for them to sit in. They all learned how to sit up on their own when they were ready - my singleton by 5 1/2 months, my twins around 7 months. I would never be comfortable feeding them meals in them in either since I would always be worried about them falling over - I much prefer the Fisher Price Healthy Care booster seats.

We love them in our house! In fact we just started using them in the bathtub and can bathe both babies at the same time and it is SO fun and so worth every penny to have two. The material wont absorb water and they drain/dry really well. It is so cute to see them in all their chubby glory in the bath together, easy to bathe them, easy to keep them on the same sleep schedule, etc as they are both done at the same time.

We found lots of positivies and not many negatives with the Bumbo's so far! Good luck :)

They didn't have Bumbos when my twins were born but we had one for Dax and loved it. It was nice for him to be able to sit up and look around more often and I did use it for the early feedings. It was also a good & stable place to put him while I'd take off my jacket or take care of things when we'd come home. We'll definitely be using the Bumbo with any other kids we have.

LOVE our Bumbos. Buy 2, but get them used (got them for 1/2 price on Craigslist).

This is exactly what we do!

We too are on the love Bumbos side. We got one used and one new, used ones generally have more stretched out leg holes, which means better to put the chunkier baby in them. Until the kids were sitting on their own, we'd put them in the Bumbos and put them close to toys that were in the air (on a playmat bar) and they would just play forever. I bought the trays but only used them a couple of times.

Oh and the best part is, that you don't have to strap the kids in, so if you have to leave one in the room while you're changing the other, it's really easy to just plop them in!

Thanks for all the input! Maybe I'll look on Craigslist and see if there is someone near me selling. I'm in Springfield, IL.

We didn't really use ours. They are 6 months now, they'd rather roll around on the floor. I'd look around for used ones.

We take ours to restaurants and the girls get to sit in the booth with us. We really like them. We could have lived without them (of course) but we got one for our baby shower and we bought one for half the price (brand new) from craigslist.
