Just wondering if it would be worth investing in Bumbo seats for my 4 month old twins?
Do you have one (or two)?
    How do you like it?

We had one for each kiddo, but don't buy them new if you can get away with it.

we have them and the girls like them okay. we have them sit in them about 10-15 minutes a day because that's about all they can tolerate. i have very wiggly girls. i will say that the bumbos are helping the girls learn to sit up. they are just about to sit up on their own any day now.

oh, and we own two. they really like sitting in front of each other with their feet touching.

    girls in their bumbos

If your babies are big don't get them. By the time they could sit in them we had maybe two weeks before they started getting stuck in them ( mean I lift them and the seat comes with them  .)

I bought one used ($20 and sold it for the same). I used it as a rotation of their play activities (exercauser/jumperoo/bumbo/floor time/etc) when they were little and then to keep them in one place around 6/7 months so I could put the other in the car and then come get the one in the Bumbo (by the garage door). My boys didn't learn to sit until 7 months so I used it for about 2/3 months and they still liked to sit in it every once in a while after that. It was well worth the $20 I spent (and made back) on it! Check Craigslist!

i decided to get them about a month ago for our girls.. I was trying to figure out if it was worth the money that i would spend on them.

But i have really enjoyed them.. My duo doesn't tollerate tummy time well and so i use them as an alternative to get them off their backs.. too it helps with head control!!

We got two BeBe pod seats which is just like the Bumbo, but with an activity tray. I wish I had used the gift receipts to return them for the BRUS credit. Max & Lily sat in them maybe 4 or 5 times for about 15 minutes each time. To me it was a total waste and we could have purchased something more practical. Thankfully I was able to sell them on ebay, but for about 1/2 price  .

We bought two at BRU with the trays. It helped them work on sitting up and neck strength. My twins are 9 mos. now. My DD can still fit in hers, and I use it sometimes to feed her a snack. But my DS has chunky thighs and outgrew his quite a while ago. I wish they could both sit in it for snacks, but now way. I saw a number of used ones at our baby consignment store about half price (after I bought ours). Definitely look for a used set.

I borrowed one and got one used off craigslist. I highly recommend them and still use them to this day!

My girls never liked them. They'd last for maybe 5 min. and scream to get out. Every baby is different. See if you can buy them used.

My girls like them okay--I like that it gives them a different perspective on the world. They have great neck strength already, but I think it's helping them "learn" to sit. My SIL got them used for us, and her 2 1/2 year old daughter loved them and could still fit in them!

They were actually my first purchase from craigslist. The boys like them and I was able to get a tray from target which will be helpful when they start playing with things. My boys don't tolerate a lot of time in them, but about 15 minutes to get them off the back of their head a couple times a day I think is worth it!

    First time in Bumbos!

    Then they had enough!

Ditto to the borrowing and Craigslist. I paid $15 for the one I bought. My girls eat every meal in their Bumbos. It's nice because we can go to friends houses and I can take those and stay through meal time. I have one tray that I use for BK, or else she'll be too busy playing with her toes to eat. They do lurch backwards out of them when they are full, but that's a feeding thing, nothing to do with the chair itself.

My boys love them. I have one but am getting a seond. They dont tolerate timmy time very well, but they will sit in the bumbo for 15-20 min playing with toys. Best thing I own right now.

I also borrowed one and bought one. I also bought the trays and used them as highchairs when we would go over to our parents house for dinner. We didn't really use them much at home, sometimes I would sit them in it and set up an activity table between them and they seemed to like that. I say if you can get them cheap or used then go for it but I wouldn't spend the money on two new ones.

We got one used on Craig's List for $20. Glad I didn't pay full price. They like it ok (can tolerate 5 minutes or so in it). I hope to resell it for what I paid for it.

Our girls have both come on in leaps and bounds since regular use in the bumo's. They love sitting in them. Like a pp mentioned they have really encouraged one of my girls to sit up unassisted.

We got them as gifts and LOVED them!!! We used them for reading, singing, and just playing. They loved to be able to sit up and look at me! I also think it got them used to the feeling of sitting up. Good luck!!!

We have the bebepods (kinda like bumbos but with a smooth surface instead of that rough kinda..) and I also bought them off of craigslist, both of them for $20. I wouldn't have bothered, my DD slides down because she's so little, and DS will grow out of it entirely too quickly because his legs are so thick. Hehe.

If I had to do it again, I'd have just bought one. :)

LOVE THEM!! We received one pink and one blue at our shower. I bought the trays to go with them. Mine love to sit in them with toys on their trays to play with. My Little guy is getting chunky lil legs and I find it getting harder to get him in and out of. My neice was a chubby baby and couldn't fit in hers past 3 months!
