Bumbo and bath??

Has anyone used the Bumbos in the bath?

I've used mine in the kitchen sink. It was a little tippy but I think that's because of hte way the bottom of my sink is shaped. You're aren't supposed to use them in water but I figure I'm right there holding onto her anyway...

 

I still bathe mine in the sink, but I have a friend who uses the Bumbos in the bathtub!

 

I wouldnt. They say not to for a reason. Why risk it. Get a tub ring for them to sit in.

 

I've used my bumbo in the bathtub and it worked just fine, just couldn't put alot of water in or it would float a little. I was right there, though, so it worked fine

 

Here is my funny story about Bumbos in the bath tub. I thought they would be great to hold one baby and I could hold the other. I put the Bumbo in the tub, turned on the water, put Brooke in the Bumbo in the tub whileit filled with water. I had Kaitlyn on the bathroom floor and was undressing her. Got her undressed and looked up to find Brooke floating around the ub in her Bumbo...it was like a little boat! Of course, she was unware of the danger and had a great ride. I was terrified! Anyways....no matter how much water I pured into the Bumbo...it would not stay put. I tired to get the air out from under it and it still would not stay put! Too Funny. So, unless you want your abby to have a cruise around the tub, I'd stay clear of the Bumbo. We now have a bathseat that doesn't float. I wish I took a picture...it was so cute watching her float around the tub.
