I was inspired by the genius ideas given to me in a previous post about the glider board attachment for toddlers to the City Elite Jogger Double stroller. But I am not interested at all in the $650 price tag just for the stroller!

So I did a little searching a found this site. It has 2 types of glider attachments that fit many different strollers. It even has rated each stroller to tell you how well it fits and how much room it will give the child.

Take a look! Looks like I can get away with a $200-$300 stroller instead of $650.

Thanks to the ladies that turned me on to this invention though!

ok.....looks like this is a British based company and trying to match a US stroller with a good rating on the site is difficult. Anyone have experience with this or similar product by differnt company?

I noticed that it won't work well with the Graco Quatro Duo. Ony got a 1/10 rating. I was hoping this one would work for us. :( Thanks for posting the info though!

I know....that is a bummer. I am still convinced though I can find a cheaper option.

Since you are willing to pay $300, maybe you can do $382 and get this stroller. We got it as a Christmas gift for the twins - but we have been using it for over a month now :). We have the blue/black one - they had that one on sale/clearance last month. It has the big footrest that you are looking for, it fits through a standard single door and for being so big, it manuvers really easy, it even has a hand break. It's really easy to fold. The ride is really smooth for the twins and I think a toddler can fit fine on the foot rest, but I don't have a toddler myself. It is a double stroller so it's not very light, but it is very sturdy and we hope it's the only stroller we'll need with them, other than the snap and go.

I think you said you just discovered you were pregnant, so maybe you shouldn't rush and get one yet, see how it goes when the twins are born. I think at the beginning you will have the double snap and go - we love that one. It will be really convenient when you take just the twins out while in rear facing carseats. Maybe you can find a good sale like the one we got for a double stroller. We weren't really looking to buy this one for another few months since they are still young, but we thought it was a great deal, so we got it, and we like it a lot.

    Monica -
Its funny you mention the double snap and go. Because that is one stroller that the buggy board website in my original post recommends. So I could have the snap and go and have the board attachment for my daughter to ride on.

Then you are right....I would have tons of time to figure out the next step!

I actually purchased my Baby Jogger City Elite for $429 PLUS got 10% cash back by using bing.com (unfortunately they don't do the cash back any more, but surely some other site has a similar deal?), so I ended up paying $386 (free shipping, no sales tax). That's still a lot of money, but it drives SOOOOOO well - way better than many other pricey options. Plus I can drive it one handed and still grab one of my two other children ...

I've found that the ladies over on the Baby Bargains stroller forum are great at finding ways to work a great deal on a stroller (stacking coupons, cash back offers, price matches, etc.). I never would've come up with this deal myself.

Finally, I am a huge fan of Snap n' Go strollers - I've used them for my two older children as well as my twins and do not have enough good things to say. BUT, I do think it would be difficult to maneuver with a buggy board strapped on the back. The length of the double is cumbersome to begin with. It's pretty great to push around when twins are small - by the time our twins were about to outgrow their infant seats, however, I thought it was very hard to push around. I would wonder how the added weight of a toddler would affect the stroller's pushability ... might be something to try out at the store before you commit.
