Just interested if anyone has one of these. http://www.bargains4babies.com/buggybaggtwin.html (hopefully the link will work). I am looking for something that protects the boys in those warehouse carts and the carts that the grocery stores, Target, and Walmart are soon to get, right??!! :D

    Thanks,
    Rachel

I don't have that one but I have couple that I used regularly. I got mine at covers4kids.com and I have loved them. The best part is that the extra leg holes close with velcro and you can use it as a cover for one child in a single cart too. They are totally machine washable and it all stuffs into a little bag that is attached.

*I wanted to add that you have to scroll down to the bottom of the link to see the double covers.

We used to sell these at Twinstuff but it caused too much confusion as quite honestly not a ton of stores offer the specific type of double carts needed for these items. Here in Texas those carts are only in Costco's and some Sam's Clubs. I've never seen them in a Wal-Mart, Target or any grocery store, and I've been waiting four years for that to happen (not for my twins anymore, but if we saw more stores carrying the right kind of carts, we'd probably offer the items again at our site).

This is why I liked mine. I could use them as a single and put one baby in the backpack (or baby bjorn).
By the way, our grocery store (Safeway) has the double seats however they are the ones with the cars attached.

This is an interesting thread for me, 'cause I'm not at a point that I've taken my babies to the store yet. I had a cart cover with my first and found it more of a hassle than it was worth, for the most part. Unless it was good weather and I could put the cover on and put the baby in right next to my car, it was a real PITB to lug the diaper bag, the cover, and the kid into the store and then were do I put the kid while I wrestle with the cover? With two, I imagine it's really important to put them in the seat next to your vehicle, but I won't always be able to do that with the weather.

My plan as of now is just to keep antibacterial wipes in the car for wiping the cart down, put them in, and we're off. We have the same problem as PP -not a lot of double carts in our town anyway (part of the reason why I haven't taken babies to the store).

OK, I didn't even know that stores had carts with 2 seats in them, all the carts around here only have leg holes for one child ... WOW, would that make my life easier. You'd think considering the number of twins keeps rising each year, stores would order a few to keep on hand. I would definitely go out of my way to a store that had a cart like that.
