BRU screwed up my order...Grrrrrr....

I'm so pissed! I ordered a Baby Jogger City Mini Double stroller a little over a week ago. It finally arrived today- in the wrong color!!! I have been on pins and needles waiting for it to arrive because the twins are too hot in their car seats with the double snap-n-go I have.

I called BRU and they told me my color was OUT OF STOCK and they don't know when it will be restocked! What?!?!? (btw- the receipt has the correct color listed on it, but the package is incorrect, so they could've told me it was out of stock when I ordered it) I need it NOW, for the summer! All they could do was offer me a $20 instant rebate off the cost of the stroller and free shipping to return the wrong stroller and receive my new stroller. damn- couldn't I at least get a cup holder out of it?? I'm going away next week and told them that now I'd have to pay rental costs for a stroller while on vacation and the supervisor said they couldn't be responsible for paying the costs. I'm taking my s-n-g anyway, but I didn't want to push around two babies in boiling hot FL in their carseats all day!

Did I say I'm pissed???? Cuz I'm PISSED!

 

I had problems when I ordered my boppy newborn loungers from BRU several months ago. UPS said it was delivered and it was never delivered and they refused to take any kind of responsibility whatsoever. They wouldn't even investigate it. I had to take care of it all myself. I swore at that point to not order anything from them ever again.

I am sorry about your stroller. I hope you can get some kind of resolution!

Agh, that really sucks! I know that was on backorder for a long time b/c I had been checking their site for it to come in. I ended up ordering mine on Amazon b/c I was too impatient.

I hope you get the mess sorted out soon. I LOVE my City Mini Double and the twins really enjoy sitting upright now as opposed to the cradle position the Double Snap n' Go had them in. It's worth the wait!!!!!

 

SIl bought one of their convertible car seats and had it delivered. well, we came home one evening, and there it was on our doorstep, in the pouring rain, box completely dented up. unbelievable. we of course tookit to the store and insisted they exchange it for us.
