when your talking to one twin about the ther do you refer to the other twin as "brother" or "sister" or do you call them by their names.

I have always refered to them by their names but since the new babies been here DH and I have been refering to her as "baby sister".

we will say "Piper/Morgan where's baby sister?"

    happy eater to everyone :Clapping:

I call them by names and "sister" so I guess it just depends. I want to try to stop saying "sister" and saying the other twins name but that is a hard habit to break :)

We use both their names and "sissy" (as in, please share with your sissy). You know, I have to say that my cousins used "sis" and "bub" growing up and they didn't continue it in school. Not sure why??

We have lots of names that we call Chloe and Cole; sister, brother, princess, mister, buddy... They both seem to know who we are talking to, so I think they know those names. They still don't say their names (or 'mama' grrrr...) so I am trying to force myself to use their real names more.

Very rarely, I'll say, "Where's your brother?" But I don't say, "Where's Brother?" KWIM?

We pretty much just use their names.

We pretty much use just their names (or one of 70 million nicknames we have for them). Actually the other day I said, "Go give this to your sister" and they had no idea what I was talking about.

My 23-year-old niece is still called "Sister" by her two younger brothers (13 and 21) and it makes me nuts. Just not my personal preference.

We use both and they understand either way. I hear them call each other "brother" and they do attempt to say each other's names as well so I don't think they've been slowed by having the other term in use.

We use their names. Michael knows that Katherine is his sister and Katherine knows that Michael is her brother.

I always refer to them as brother. When I am asking one about the other, I say what is brother doing, or where is brother? They always know who I am talking about.

We use both, but use nicknames more than their actual names. I was never afraid of the kids thinking "brother" or "sister" were their names, but I was afraid of them thinking their nicknames were

I usually say 'sissy' when talking to one about the other. Sometimes I say the name. They know either way what I mean.

I really do both. It depends on the situation or my mood.

I do both. They know their own name and do pretty well with each other's names (though Alec will still sometimes call Ryan "Alec"), so we haven't had problems in that area.

We use both. For a while Kelly only called Kaitlyn "sister". She's back to calling her Kaitlyn though. Kaitlyn has started calling Kelly "Kell" even though no one else does. I have no idea where she got that from.

That is what i am afraid of and setrain myself from calling them "sister" they already know their own and eachothers names.

I have started calling Tanya by her name, they twins already know who 'tanya' is..i say to them "Morgan/Piper, where Tanya?" and they will look up at her and smile.
