Broadening Nose ??

Okay, I was looking at pre-pg photos the other day and realized that my nose has broadened so much since I became pg. For those of you who have been pg before, does this lovely symptom go away after the babies are born? Thanks!

 

I think mine is looking swollen and broader in the last few days. I think it's water retention. Ugh.

I've heard of this happening and it going away after you have the baby. I didn't have it with my first that I recall.

Yep it goes away, I promise. I didnt realize how HUGE mine had gotten until I saw my baby shower pics, Peter had to fight me not to throw them away lol (I was 31 weeks). I think about 3-4 weeks PP I saw a huge difference in it going back to normal, and by 6-8 weeks it was totally normal again. I was SO worried it would stay like that lol!

 

My nose spread in my pregnancy with I and M. The nurse who worked the LD floor for many years, took one look at me and said, Hey--at least one of those is a girl--your nose is spreading. HA!

It went back to normal a couple of weeks after delivery!

 

I've never heard of this. Now I'm gonna have to go 'study' my nose!

I wonder why this happens in the first place??

 

my nose got HUGE with my son. it was so gross. thankfully it went back to normal, though. it didn't spread with my daughter...it hasn't with this pregnancy, either. maybe it's too early yet, i don't know.

 

It is probably just a little weight gain and water retention, mine looks the same way. I am hoping it will go away. My head also looks giant in all my pictures. I really hope that goes away!!!

 

I didn't realize how big my nose got until I saw pictures of me in the hospital. I told my dh that it looked like I had an extra butt on my face . But to reassure you it did go back to normal.
