My girls are very active so everyone tends to think they will continue changing positions, but it's getting a little late in the game and I'm starting to be concerned. They've only been breech/breech for a few days [and I knew it--got it confirmed at U/S yesterday--I was so proud of myself for KNOWING!!--never could do that with my singletons], but thought I'd really start the research now.....
I know I've read a thread on here before and I looked at spinningbabies.com and they have great techniques [guess i should start doing the inversion thing], but I'm concerned about getting TWIN info--any help?!? Mine are in separate sacks with fused placentas, so we don't have to really worry about cords tangling and knotting, I guess.....

hey there--not sure you have read my posts but I have been down that road before--just ended w/a successful double breech delivery of my twins.

However I was certain I would not have the option of a vaginal delivery and did my share of reading on spinning babies. I was actually around 32 weeks when I tried some of the inversions, etc. and shortly after went into PTL. Part of me wonders if that was related? There is in fact a section on twins on spinningbabies, (click on 'pregnancy and there are some subsets of twin info) it recommends some inversions and then a few other tricks. I found all the procedures described with the exception of inversions to be too complicated and overwhelming so late in the game. I didn't want to go out and get a chiropractor, acupunturist, prenatal massage etc. Combined they are expensive and without promise of success... There is always the chance of turning but did not happen to me when I went into labor at 35w6d.

I subsequently did a LOT of research on breech deliveries etc. Feel free to PM me if you want to chat more. I am a bit busy w/the new arrivals :) but still manage to find time to feed my forum/internet addictions :)

Good luck and hang in there!

Thank you--I'd found the twin sectino on spinning babies before but couldn't seem to locate it now when i need it :)
My OB is unwilling to deliver breech/breech and I trust her with most decisions. She is also willing to listen to me, so I'll do some more research--but I'm praying at least little Abigail (baby A) will make the turn....

I gave up hope the other day. I was getting in the pool, doing handstands (with assistance), playing music at the vaginal area... they're still breech/transverse. Plus, my transverse baby has been transverse since week 10. My husband tries to cheer me up by saying that if a C-Section is as bad as we have it (no PTL, pre-ecclampsia, etc) then we have it good. Plus our crappy docs are accustomed to a C-Section... not so much with multiples, so it may be safer for us. Which drives me NUTS- they should be able to handle this. Whatever.

I wish you all the luck in the world and hope those babies turn!

My girls were baby A breech and baby B transverse from 10 weeks. Then at 36 weeks WOW! both head down! well at 38 weeks on the dot they were back to baby A breech and baby B transverse! that was 4 days before they were born at 38 weeks 4 days! so there is hope of them turning you just never know! We had my c-section scheduled at 23 weeks for Jan 3 which was 38 weeks 4 days. They told me that if on that day they were both head down they would induce instead of proceed with the c-section. I ended up with a c-section.
