Baby A (my daughter) is firmly breech and very low. I can actually feel little leg parts way down in my pelvis near my hips and can occasionally feel my joints rubbing against her. Can I hurt her? I'm nervous that I might be causing her issues with her fragile little parts.

Don't forget that you have your uterus, plus an amniotic sac between your joints and her legs. You won't hurt her, but if you did, she would move her leg! She is much more likely to hurt you!

Ditto on the pp.... there's so much cushioning her...and remember babies bones aren't as hard as ours...they are actually a bit flexible and spongy, so you aren't likely to snap a little foot by cracking your pelvis accidentally...

P.S. I do know a mom whose little vertex boy broke her rib!!! The impact didn't break his foot though!! :p

  5. I must chuckle at the pp, if my vertex boy doesn't break a rib i'll be shocked. your little one will be just fine.
