So what do your kids eat for breakfast?

Mine: pancakes and waffles, yogurt, fruit (usually banana) Joss east eggs in many forms, Liam thinks eggs are super gross, he shudders if they touch his tastebuds.

But I have to send breakfast 2 days a week to school... Any suggestions?

Lately they won't eat anything but toast with cream cheese. You could send them with a sandwich, or cereal bar. And fruit?

What do the other kids bring? I would think breakfast would be a hard thing to pack up. Maybe cereal bars, or you could make a loaf of pumpkin bread (or whatever) and freeze it in individual packets? We do that, just so we don't have to eat the whole thing in a week.

I made apple/carrot muffins and thought about zucchini bread and pumpkin would be a good idea, I'll have to find a recipe... I was thinking zucchini bread with cream cheese actually. They'll eat around 7:30 and then have a snack at 9:30. So it doesn't have to be big.

Most of the time we have homemade biscuits and gravy with sausage patties.

Other days they have a bowl of fruit loops. They spent the night with my parents last weekend and he made them a breakfast burrito with hot sauce inside, and they LOVED it.

My girls love dry cereal and will eat a bowl of DH's cereal (Vector) or Multi-Grain cheerios without milk. Just put it in a snack baggie. Grapes are a morning favourite and they also like cream cheese roll-ups (my own creation)

Cut the crusts off a slice of whole grain bread
    Spread with cream cheese
    roll it up
    cut into sections.

Any other fruit would also do: orange wedges, apple slices...mine are big on berries when I can find fresh ones in the winter.

i do lots of quick breads (banana, apple, zucchini, pumpkin, carrot pinapple, etc.) and, like pp, cut them up into servings and freeze - that would be super easy to send to school in a little baggie with some fruit.
