So I am SOOOOOO happy that I had the shower this weekend.
What a wonderful time with family and friends!
But the point I am trying to make is that starting on Friday I was having some major pressure and pain in my pelvic area and my uterus was definitly getting real hard and it seemed to be happening often.
I had to lay down because I was really worried being that this is my first pregnancy.
Well the shower was Saturday and it was a blast, but I was on my feet almost all day visiting.
Then yesterday, I had the same thing happen and had to rest all day.
Today I have been fine(sitting at my desk and the quick walks to the bathroom).
I mean I have had them sporatic throughout the day, but no pain or pressure.
Is this normal at this stage????
I go for an u/s tomorrow.
    Thank goodness!

I would count how often you are having them. If you are experiencing more than 4-6 an hour (or so, the number tends to vary a little depending on OB's) and they don't go away with a few glasses of water and laying down (preferably on your left side) then call the doc. Noone will know for sure whether they are BH's or PTL until someone with the appropriate medical training checks if you are experiencing cervical changes.

Edited for typos even though I proofed a few times [IMG].

I agree with Dianne. If you have more than 4-6 an hour call your OB.
